When teenage Cady Heron transfers to a public high school after years of being homeschooled in Africa, she befriends outsiders Janis and Damian. They persuade her to infiltrate the "Plastics," a clique consisting of Gretchen Wieners, Karen Smith, and "queen bee" Regina George.
